People of Pickle provides unique stories about the people who play pickleball. We try to find interesting angles and present content that resonates with all, whether an aspiring pro, a regular tournament player, the established rec player, the bangers, the dinkers and … the lobbers.
Lara Thornton manages website content to pay the bills and tries to fill the remaining available hours of the day playing pickleball. The pickleball community has provided friends and fun; the sport has renewed a competitive spirit and athletic drive. She created People of Pickle to share interesting stories of those who play pickleball.
Johnpaul Mahofski is a librarian at the Eastern Correctional Institution, passionate about serving others.
